St Margaret’s Church remains committed to serving our community in whatever way possible. A programme of services and events are published each week on the homepage of our website and in the parish bulletin sheet. We would encourage you to take a look at these and join us in church or online when you can.
We would like to encourage people to commit to “Call a Friend” – people you know in the congregation and in the community – especially those who are alone at this time or reluctant to venture out.

School Visits to St Margaret's Church
Introduction
We love welcoming local primary schools to St Margaret’s for engaging, multisensory, and inclusive learning experiences. Our visits are designed to be accessible and child-friendly, and we are always happy to adapt content to suit different age groups or specific learning needs.
Themes We Offer
1. History of the Building and the legend of the Dragon and the Virgin: Explore the fascinating story of St Margaret’s, from its architecture to its place in the life of the community over the centuries.
2. Light: A theme that explores symbolism, celebrations, and the spiritual significance of light in the Christian tradition.
3. Nativity: Experience the Christmas story through storytelling, role-play, and creative activities.
4. Easter: Discover the meaning and message of Easter in a way that’s age-appropriate and engaging.
5. Community Engagement and the Church: Learn about the church’s role in serving the community.
These themes can be tailored to suit the needs and age group of your class, and we aim to make each visit a rich, hands-on experience whenever possible—incorporating storytelling, art, and interaction.

Community Noticeboard
Food parcels and Foodbank vouchers are now being issued again from St Margaret’s Church on Friday each week between 11am and 1pm.
